The Muratec MFX-2570 has received a 5-Star Environmental Performance Rating from Buyers Laboratory Inc (BLI). The multifunction device received the award after undergoing a battery of performance tests during BLI’s 2-month lab evaluation.

According to the published BLI Environmental Test Report the 5-Star rating was awarded based on:

1. Energy consumption in both running and non-running modes being the lowest among the competition.
2. Printing performance on 30%, 50% and 100% recycled paper (no curl or misfeeds)
3. Projected annual energy consumption and cost are the lowest among competitive models

The overall rating is based on performance ratings in eight categories. The MFX-2570 received 5-star ratings for “energy consumption & cost”, “runnability with 30% recycled paper”, “runnability with 50% recycled paper” and “runnability with 100% recycled paper”. The device received a 4.5-star rating for “tested toner yield” and 4-star ratings for “noise emissions” and “environmentally friendly features”.
